| JUDITH JARVIS: CHOREOGRAPHER AND DANCE ARTIST |
“I teach workshops with the belief that outstanding results can be achieved by dancers of all ages and levels. As a late starter in dance I realise only too well that dance can be difficult and intimidating. I try and encourage people to enjoy themselves, work together and aim for improvement over perfection. My experience is that this, when supported by good choreography, musicality, timing and attention to performance skills, will result in a dance piece that engages its audience. Such are the points that I emphasise in my workshops”

After graduating I choreographed a number of fashion shows - the most bizarre being "Vicar On The Catwalk" (National Christian Resources Exhibition) during which I was interviewed by BBC Radio 5 Live. The show was also featured on BBC Breakfast Television. I have also choreographed a series of fair trade fashion shows and have participated in shows ranging from high street stores to vintage Dior. Apart from this I have worked as a TV actress and an editorial and advertising model. For 7 years I had a regular walk-on role as a nurse in the BBC drama series Casualty.
